The Action Figure Vault software has the ability to support multiple collections. Each collection is stored in a seperate file and is completely independent from all the others. This means that all the reports and features only operate on one collection at a time. For most purposes you will only want to use one collection. However, if multiple people use the same program, for instance brothers, you may each have your own collection.

Open a different collection. You may only have one collection open at a time.

Create a brand new collection.

All changes you make to your collection are automatically saved as you changed them. However, this is an excellent option that can be used to for backup purposes. You should save multiple backups of your collection just in case.

Completely erase everything out of the current collection you have open and start over.
