The classic version of Aquaman is clad in the familiar scale-meshed orange and green costume. Aquaman is armed with a regal gold trident, and is eager to burst free from his packaging so that he might use said trident to add some new breathing holes to Black Manta’s costume.

Reviews of Aquaman | 4.50 stars from Dr Nightmare | The JLU cartoons are the versions of characters that I like the most it seems. I think it's because there's aren't like 10 side-stories to each character like in comics, each story portraying them with a different attitude and different ideals. JLU Aquaman is a badass. He's got the sweet flowing mane, he's bare-chested, has a hook for a hand, and blows shoot up with a trident when he's pissed-off. And he has a hot red-headed wife. Aquaman is awesome. I finally got my first DCUC figure! And and Aquaman at that? Psht, I got it made!!! So, mister Arthur Curry is the son of Tom Curry, a light house keeper. He and a beached mer-maid, Atlanna, conceived Orin, (Arthur's Atlantian name). Later in Arthur's life, still unknowing of his mother's home and race, Atlanna died of natural causes. Yes, I know my version contradicts the origin on the back of Aquaman's packaging, but this is how I know it. This figure is great. It's everything I could hope for from a figure except for a few things. What first struck me was the articulation.
