The living creature created by Victor Frankenstein said to be made from the assemblage of multiple human corpses, as well as animal, plant, and other forms of dead tissue. Sometimes referred to a "flesh golem"
When I first got the Grundy parts I wanted to do the Hulk as he appeared in the second half of the first issue, but the more I looked at it, I kept seeing the wretch Victor Frankenstein created. Then in a used toy shop in Hamilton, I found a broken toy of Frankenstein's monster, and that completely sealed the deal.
The head was severed from the original figure, and filled with apoxy to fit perfectly to the Grundy body. I found I had to give the Grundy base figure a quick, complete sanding so it would take paint, including the rubber jacket (DCU capes and coats are the worst for taking paints!).
I did a base coat for each colour, then dry brush for detail, and then dark washes, and topped with one last dry brush for highlights. Then he needed to be dirtied up. Layers of extra browns to get the dirty look of his clothes and shoes. He's a mess from living in hiding because, well he's a monster.
-I forgot to mention I had a cheat to complete this baf, can you catch it?
Thanks for taking the time to check him out!
