Robin Damian Wayne (DC Universe) Custom Action Figure
Custom #:46420
Name:Robin Damian Wayne
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:DC Universe
Date Added:January 24, 2013
Base Figure:Robin
Height:5.00 inches
By far my favorite book in the DC New 52 is Batman and Robin. Pat Gleason and Peter Tomasi have defined Damian Wayne amazingly. Damian is also possibly the most interesting character in the DCU at the moment. And he doesn’t have a cool figure. The DCD one is too tall and has a lame head sculpt. So here is my version. Fully articulate and comes with his sword, staff, and 2 robinarangs. His trademark hood is removable, and he is proportionate in size to Batman as a 10 year old would be .

He was a YJ Robin body, some other Robin’s head and cape. I sculpted the front cape, mask, ‘R’, and forearms, and gave him Stargirl boots. Finished with a custom paint job.

See you in the future!

This is a really awesome figure. I love the head sculpt and the hood. However since you brought up the DC Direct one, I just want to point out that this one is too tall as well. Damian tends to come up to Grayson's chest and he's even shorter in comparison to Bruce. That might be due to the Batman he's posing with though. He also looks more muscular than he appears in the comics but I know that's because of the base figure you used. Sorry, if this comes off as a bit critical. Damian is my favorite DC character at the moment and I feel that this figure could have been the perfect portrayal of him. Still an excellent piece, great job

A good-looking Damian custom, I love the touch of the removeable hood, and the Stargirl boots work excellent - I would've never thought of that!

This is sick! Batman and Robin is also my favorite and the most consistent with the art in dc right now. I've followed without missing one, up to issue 16. I'm not into the Death in the Family line with everybody getting Joker-ized but I picked up #16 just because I knew it would still be good. & your right, there is no good Damian figure yet. This is a great recipe!
