Another 3D printed action figure inspired by Skyrim (after many gear mods)...
This one took a bit longer and an extra test print to have everything working properly, but most things worked as intended right away which was nice considering all the moving parts.
All the gear on her back can be removed or interchanged. She can hold/carry most of the weapons I've printed through shapeways so far. 2 handed weapons can be clipped on her back and most 1 handed swords fit into her rolled up sleeping back on her back or on her leg where the knife is.
The armor plate on her leg swings freely up and down and doesn't hinder articulation and the straps for her shoulder armor are flexible enough to let her arm push it up too.
I tried to do more things with washes and dry brushing some of which kinda worked, and some not so, live and learn.
On the downside, shapeways forgot to polish this one so her surface finish is a bit rougher. Kinda works for the leather and fur parts but not so well for her skin. They're printing me a new one for free but alas, I'm done!
She was fun so I'll probably be doing a few more fantasy figures next...
