hello realmers! i couldnt be more excited to be a part of the hottest contest of the summer! this is a figure i have wanted to create for some time now and i am very pleased with the way that she finally turned out.this figure was somewhat of a team effort between my girlfriend and i,while i did the majority of the work here she was definitely the inspiration behind this creation.she has wanted for us to create this fairy warrior type character for years now so we finally sat down and this is what we came up with.we started with a tamina snooka base and added a hope summers head and gauntlets with feet from mcfarlanes lotus warrior. for the sword/staff weapon i cobbled together a couple different mcfarlane weapons to create a distinct one of a kind weapon for this character to call her own. the shield is actually a jewelry piece attached via magnet and is easily removable.the skirt and belt are also custom made using cut vinyl and painted to match all of the other costume details. the wings are slightly modied from a marvel legends danger figure, attached and they still retain articulation.everything u see here has been repainted from the skin tone, hair, wings, and all armor and accessories.the base we used in the first couple of pics is a mcfarlane sleepy hollow tree completely repainted from top to bottom using various shades of greens, browns, greys, and white, then added some craft flowers to finish it off.as i said before i am very excited to be a part of this contest and cannot wait to see all of the beautiful creations that the my fellow realmers have to offer! good luck to everyone participating in the summertime sirens custom contest!
