Welcome to the Custom Showcase

Just about anyone can create a custom figure. All it takes is a creative spark and enough patience to sit down and make a vision come to life. Custom figures can be created many ways. One way is to take any old figure you have lying around and give it a new exciting paint job. Another is to remove parts from various figures and use them to build an entirely new one. Better yet, maybe you are a true enthusiast and have the materials to mold your own pieces and build one from scratch. All of these methods, or any combination of them, can be used to create custom figures. Figure Realm has created the Custom Figure Showcase to encourage this great hobby and allow everyone to show off their artistic masterpieces. Please submit your custom figures for all to enjoy!

Blast from the Past

The Tank-Girl & Booga: BOOGA!!! custom from DC Universe was submitted by Davey Blaze Customs on February 15, 2013.
Here we have Custom BOOGA! Tank-Girl's Loving Mutant kangaroo boyfriend. Another older custom, but I have a soft spot for this fella on account of we have the same Ramones Tee-Shirt. He was made using a Devilman base figure. His suspenders were from a chubby Joker clown-Thug that I think was from the Arkham Asylum toy line. The Jacket was made from a fodder professor X Suit Jacket. Sculpted his mohawk, fringe on the jacket was cut pieces from the same jacket. Sculpted his Ramones Tee-Shirt and really wanted it to look real and grungy and dirty. Gave him a Punk-Rock paint job on the pants and painted him up with Citadel paints. Sealed him with matte sealer and pierced his ear and gave him real metal earrings, though they are glued in for stability. Sculpted the shades and I think that's abo...

Ah right gotcha. I have been experimenting with the soft rubber pieces from inside the WWE figure joints (specifically the ab crunch), these increase friction and prevent loose joints. I glued them into the arm socket, and now I will try to use milliput around them to fix it in place.
Cheers for the tips, and yeah I've dremmelled the shoulder sockets, and now they look nice and natural!
