Announcing the Clown Contest Custom Contest.

Weird, scary, twisted or even cute bring out your best clown customs. No jokers, joker thugs, or spawn clowns. No factory made clown figures, as if there are any other than maybe The Joker and make sure to have fun with this one as it is a very weird mission we've given you. The same rules apply as usual.

I'm glad you incoporated the "no-Joker" clause, I was thinking about suggesting it myself in fact. Now, I don't have anything against the Joker or anything, I think he rules, but, for this contest, I'd wager 1/3-1/2 of the entries would have been the Joker if you hadn't done that, which wouldn't be much fun. Barring the Spawn Clown is a little surprising, as he isn't as popular, but I can see where you're coming from there too.

Alot of people do. It's the same reason people fear masks, it's because clowns can hide their true intentions behind a painted on smile.

You might want to clarify the rules slightly and specifically say no DC Joker/Joker thugs--I was brainstorming a list of potential clown characters and came up with several non-DC Jokers in the process. While I realize most people will understand that you only mean the DC Joker/Thugs, it's possible someone might read it to mean no characters named Joker at all.

Other than Homie D (In living Color!), Jack Napier (Joker), Sweet Tooth (entered in recent contest), IT and a few others. Oh yeah Dr. Roxxo of Metalocalypse would be cool just because he's insanely funny! Other than those, clowns just suck bum! Oh yeah, Viloator from Spawn but other than that....?

Now a Marvel Vs Capcom 3 or "Coolest Crossover" woould be a cool contest! I listed several ideas in the forum. Im very new to figurealm so sorry if my ideas seem old or used. Im sure we can come up with better contest categories.

killer clowns from outer soace are the coolest or capt spalding dude there is tons of cool clowns besides the joker!

While I agree that clowns aren't as rich a vein for mining as the robots/cyborgs were, there's still a lot out there if you look around.

There are lots of clown video game characters, for example, I came up with a list of around 20 of those when I was brainstorming for this contest. That'd be my advice in general if you're stuck--just start writing down all the clowns you can think of, from any medium, and, if nothing else, you can always create an original character.
