Hey Cap, ever thought of...

Postby Top-notch comix » Sat Jan 09, 2010 10:53 pm

making and selling FR shirts/ hats/ pins/ wristbands, or anything in the shop? I'd buy some... That way, we can non-verbaly invite potential members to join the site! (that means more potential sales for you!) Like, I have a shirt that says "redvsblue.com" on the front, and I get a lot of people coming up to me and asking about it... It's pretty much free advertizement for the folks at red vs. blue (roosterteeth productions)!

Do you use the Iron on stuff, or silk screening?

Yes, we had a topic about this a year or two ago about T-Shirts. I really like the idea, but there were a couple problems:

1. I am artistically retarded, so someone would have to design the shirt. Although, it sounds like there is willing help to do this. We would still have to be careful about using copyrighted images, like any super heroes.

2. I couldn't come up with a good way to do produce them. I looked into ordering as you go from a 3rd party like cafe press. This would be easiest for me, but very expensive for the buyer. The much cheaper way is to take orders beforehand and order them all at once, but I think I got two responses to anyone being interested, so I didn't pursue it.

Id love a T-Shirt with a carboard box on it and it says "A nice big box of air'' or something like that....a crazy naked monkey (yami) riding a trashcan with wheels would be neat too....
