Looks like Cartoons wins out! Thanks to Patraw, Shapp, and 3bcustoms for the new contest ideas.
#1 3 3/4 Scale
Marvel Legends? DCUC? Who needs those! For this contest the goal is to create a custom in the 3 3/4th scale. Instead of the 1:12 scale parts most of us use, customs for this contest will be built with GI Joe, Star Wars and Marvel Universe. Any and all characters are open for this contest, the important part is that they are in 3 3/4th scale.
#2 Comic Fusion II
It's amalgam time! Permanently combine two, or more, characters into a new entity. You can create an original design or use an existing amalgam from any source material. While the contest title says "comic", you won't be limited to comic book personas - mash together whatever characters you want.
#3 Resistance is Futile
A Borg Cube has crash-landed in your backyard and they've set their sights on your entire toy collection! Simply take any character you want and customize them to look like they've been assimilated by the Borg (i.e., cover the figure with all sorts of cyborg bits). Your entries can be serious or ridiculous: Borgpool, Count Borgula, Spongebob Borgpants, etc. Or, if you're a purist, you can just make an actual Star Trek Borg character.
#4 Live Action Style
For this contest make any character into a live action movie version. Any character, any genre just show us what you think the movie version would look like. Characters with existing live action movies are not allowed.
#5 Modular Mayhem
Make a custom of any character that has removable modular/interchangeable body parts, including original creations. The character's entire body can be modular (Mod-u-lok, LEGO, MiniMates, Xevos, etc.) or just one part of their anatomy, like the hands or head (Roboto, Trapjaw, B.A.T.s, etc.) Your entry photos MUST exhibit this interchangeability (for example, if you make a character with two different heads, make sure that you show the body wearing both of them). Note that weapons/accessories don't count as interchangeable parts unless they replace parts of the body (for example, a normal machine gun wouldn't qualify, but Trapjaw's claw/gun/hook attachments do, because they take the place of his missing hand).
#6 Sight Unseen
For this contest the goal is to create a custom that Figure Realm hasn't seen before. Whether it be a character that's never been customized before, a certain version of a character, or a vehicle/ playset/ diorama type thing. Any way you choose to approach it the important part is that your entry is the first of it's kind on the Realm. The start of the contest would be the cut off, so anything submitted after the contest starts wouldn't affect legal entries
