I`m in Pain !!!

Hey guy ,

As in the title I`m in pain ,I`m a tattoo artist by trade and got a new random tattoo and it goes under my armpit ....hurts like hell ,
So i was thinking , has anyone got any tattoo stories ?
or custom pains like slicing the tip of your finger off ? ( that happened to me )
I know its a bit of a morbid question but....lol

I had an 8 foot long icicle get dropped on my hand a few weeks ago........

Not a horror story, but I have a bad knee. It would not be an exaggeration to say it hurts all the time....and that blows.

I got stitches with full feeling still and i walked around with an exposed nerve in my mouth for 4 years after i broke a tooth. Not to mention the surgery on my jaw in 2009 and in 2007 the surgery under my arm which i didn't take the pain pills for.

I was in a car accident when I was about......ten? years old.
Smacked my face on the dash.
Fractured my jaw & Knocked out six teeth.
My gums on the top of my mouth were torn and hanging down onto my tongue.
I can feel were they were stitched back together.

I'm on a sedative daily and they already knock me out for 12 hours if i take them at the right time so i figured no point ni mixing them and end up asleep for a week lol

Sure beats any of mine so far. Oh here's one for those of you who hate needles. Last 2 years in a row (around the same time every year) when i was toying with the weight loss surgery they had to jam a needle into my wrist to get blood from the artery in it. Last year wasn't bad but the year before my wrist was black and purple and unable to move for a a week.

Most of mine are tattoo related ......

I have a set of lips carved in to my hand , firtly tattooed on then scalpled off
and a tattoo on my " bikini area " (a girls name down it )
dunno if that counts as pain or just stupidity lol

I`ve also got a dent in my skull lol got in a fight when i was 16 and ended up with a brick in my face , got about a 3 inch scar at the side of my left eye
where it hit and a dent the same size .

Seph no meds ? = hard as nails !!!

I take pain killers every day for my back , i honestly couldn`t work without them

i only take something for my back when it locks up. like i said with my sedative it's basically a pain killer anyhow and anti psychotic so if i go psychopath i'm covered lol. I have scars on my arms from a bout of self mutilation after a bad reaction to some meds i was on. Took an xacto to each one and carved names and some other stuff in them and i vaguely remember. Ended up wearing long sleeved shirts in september to hide it and the one arm got infected so i had to scrub it open in the shower and then pour peroxide on it. I am now a firm believer and trying to get folks to go get help before they get that far.

The worst pain I've ever been in was a while back when I started getting migraines. They would last for two hours and they fiscally swelled up my forehead. We went to the doctor about it and he said I was getting them because I had pulled a muscle in my neck. He gave me something to relax the muscle and it hasn't happened sense.
