I'll try n' keep this short....included the first toy I owned from that series...if I remembered.

Hot Wheels - loved making tunnels in the sandbox & crushing cars in my dad's vice.
Playmobil - my brother & I each had the Esso gas station + lots more.
Star Wars - my brother & I used to make a big mud pit for Yoda (Dagobah) to play in.....ended up leaving him one day & he sank....probably still there.
GI Joe - had a ton, seems I've bought it all back.....$ $ $ ! ! ! first toy: Fang copter & Zartan w/ Swamp Skier
He-Man - these guys rocked ! first toy: Mecca-Neck
Transformers - I remember when my friend brought megatron(gun) to school.....nobody panicked back then... first toy: Wheeljack
Ghost Busters - loved the slime !
Sectaurs - I loved the bad guys ! ....the leader bad guy on his big flying bug....cooool !
Captain Power - I used to have the bad guy & his ship, you could shoot at characters on the TV show with it & they'd shoot back !

Other goodies:
The Black Hole, MASK, Inhumaniods, TMNT & Mad Balls.

I grew up on a small island so I had to wait to go to the "mainland" to get to a toy store so a lot passed me by back in the day.
My dad collected Star Wars figures back then.....I remember he bought darn near a whole shopping buggy full when they went on sale @ Kmart.

Those were the days I tell yah !

I had this transformer that was like 2 feet tall. He was a base with a train track thing around it that turned into a robot and I remember being a little kid and being psyched to get him that one Christmas. I can't remember it's name, though.

It sounds like the transformer you're referring to is Omega Supreme. He consisted of a tank that rolled around a track; which also included a rocket and launch platform. I loved that thing. Heck, when your 4 feet tall, that toy is huge in comparison. I still have mine, but it needs new rotors for the wheels so it actually walks.

I had a huge collection of ANYTHING that was star Wars/ Action Force (that's what Gi Joe was called over here in UK)...

Star Wars
Action Force
The Love Boat
A Team
The Black Hole
Fisher Price action figures
Mork and Mindy
Star Trek
Dukes of Hazzard
C.H.I.P.S

and they all were involved in GIGANTIC wars (obviously Mork, Dukes of Hazzard etc were all civilian fodder for the Evil Galactic Empire/Cobra legions, and would always die horribly..... :D
