McFarlane Accessory Identification - with pic!

Postby blaynescott » Thu Mar 15, 2012 8:29 pm

Hi everyone,

I stumbled across an old ended auction on eBay with unknown accessories. I missed out on it, but I'd love to find out where these two bits came from:

The ratty/wartorn American flag, and the Spear. They'd both go really well with some projects I'm working on.

If you know what figures they came from (or even if you have them / the figure they came from and were willing to sell it) -- let me know! :)

Thanks,
-Blayne

Can't pinpoint that flag but Iron Maiden Eddie the trooper has a similar one except a British flag. The figure is expensive but if you just want the flag the bobble head version can be picked up at a reasonable price. Oh and the guitar axe is Mcfarlane Kiss and weird spikes on top from Manga Spawn!

Really just interested in the Tattered US flag (for a Terminator John Connor custom), and the Spear for a Gladiator custom. :) I recognized the weird back-spider-mechanical-rig from Manga spawn too. ^_^

Not sure about the spear but the flag is from the rising stars patriot figure, found him once and almost spent 7 on him just for that flag lol

Man, I knew I'd seen that. Thanks Shapp! That was driving me crazy. I must have searched every manufacturer except Palisades trying to remeber where I'd seen that flag. I was actually watching that an auction with that flag as well. Any ideas on a Mcfarlane auction bear trap. Couldn't place that one either. Lol ! Well there you go Blaynescott. Dang I love this site.

Are you talking about the accessory that came with the Lion in McFarlane's Monsters Series 2: Twisted Land Of Oz?

That may have very well been the one, although I thought it was a tad different. The auction pic wasn't very well done though. Does anyone have one of these for sale or trade?!!!? [-o<
