MU Black Panther project

I think that black panther is a pretty bad as character, since i collect MU, and since all of there panthers are crap, ive decided to create my own, I have orderd a panther buck from toys r us, with the light up base and here is the recipe invisioned:

Head- MU panther
Upper torso - MU panther
Lower torso and hips- Steve rogers
Shoulders, upper and lower arms- MU Panther
Hands- Either MU Panther, or MU wave 1 punisher hands.
Legs- MU Dr. strange
Feet- MU Dr. Strange
Cape(optional)- DC infinite heroes Black Adam
Spear- Something cool and spearlike off of ebay.

So now on to my question, has anyone tried to combine these two different torso pieces on a custom, and if so how does it look/ work? I thought that the strange legs would save me a couple of coats of paint rather than using the rogers legs since they appear to be the same, can anyone verify?
