I started one from predator 2. The scene were the predator is in the bathroom with all his medical supplies and stuff and is repairing his arm.....really fun!

Here's a older one I did for my Stargate. I wanted a Offworld base, that kinda had the look of rock/stone, like the show.
It started as just a simple set of stairs with a few small pillars:

Then they released the DHD so I expanded it to include that:

Then finally they released transportation rings, so I had to add that as well.

Over all I'm very happy with how it turned out.(One last one with SG1)

Actually there's not much to it. It is Styrofoam block/sheet I get from Hobby Lobby,I get the value pack of 4 sheets that are 10X12X1 for $9. Using a box cutter or xacto knife I cut it to the shape I want. Then paint it with cheapo craft paints, like Anita's or Folk art(Coffee color). That's it.

I'm planning to work on some more in the future. I want to set up a "workshop" in my new place when I get time. I want to get back to making stuff, just haven't had the time or place to do so.

I'm going to raid the local craft shop for their display bases, nicely routed wood blanks, and maybe do some minor stuff and twist tie my figures to them in poses. that way they look cool and stay where i put them.
