regarding the "goggles" thing... try using swimming goggles... water tight and air tight! =)

well... about the injuries...

i had cuts on the hand from a hobby knife,

a small screw driver punctured my palm when i was trying to crack open a torso,

a drop of super glue got in my eye when i was trying to pry open the dried up super glue on the opening of its tube ( i was afraid i was gonna be blinded by that),

and the metal part of the glue gun (hot glue applicator) got me at the back of my hand... the skin was literally peeled off by the heat .. graaaaaaaaaaah! and the pain lasted for days until the wound closed on its own... well.. i guess my healing factor's not as good as wolvy... :|

maybe try some goggles with a different style of vents or hold the dremel farther from your face?

Pansies! Ive pried my thumb nail completely off, cut the tip off my index finger, just below the first joint, and driven an exacto blade bone deep into my palm. Apparently i really hate my left hand.

I didn't realize this was a competition to see who messed themselves up the most. Just for my own curiosity, what were you doing when you managed to rip your thumbnail off?

cracking open wasp. She popped all at once and the screw driver hit the metal bit inside, sending it straight under my thumb nail and through the other side. And yes, i superglued it back on.

I was about to drill a hole on my Bruce Lee figure. But he kicked me in the face, twisted my neck and broke my left arm with a chicken wing hold.
