custom Taxidermy Monsters

Is it even legal to taxidermy cats? I want the Griffin. But the day I spend that kind of money on a dead animal is probably never .

As long as you're not breaking any laws (using endangered animals, killing them inhumanely, etc.), I don't think there'd be any legal issues.

I agree the prices are pretty steep, but the creatures are neat-o. Anybody ever have a deer head or something mounted? I was just wondering how that compares, cost-wise, to these custom creations.

My cousins a taxidermist and I spent every fall/winter of my young life archery/rifle hunting or in tournaments and we butchered our own game. I still find that twisted!LOL! Looks cool though!
