Lego Optimus Prime

So being rather bored and disappointed with the overall movie look of the Kreo Optimus Prime I decided to raid my Lego tub and make my own version of Op. Op is a mix of very few Kreo pieces and a ton of Lego. I went for more G1 look for Op but with the stocky look from FoC. Project took 4-5 hrs (lost track of time but it took Monday Night Raw and 2 movie to finish). It was a fun project to work on while my other custom stuff was drying.

Blown away dude, this is exceptional use of lego, I wouldn't even have the patience to find that many bricks the right colour let alone assemble them onto this badboy!!

thats so cool and it made me think of when me and my brother were kids..we'd pour out the legos and build huge robots..then see who made the better one

Thanks! Unfortunatly I only managed to make him a bot mode. Might try doing one that transforms later once I get some Lego hinges.

That's what the Kreo kits should look like. I'm hoping the next in the Cybertron game trilogy will give us a G1 style earth mode. I have the g1 skin for FOC and it's great fun.
