Ok, so I just found out the Agua Man died, and it made me think of all the other awesome heroes that have bit the dust

They killed him off in a recent storyline. Heart attack. I would have prefered if he was caught in the blast he saved Martha from, or maybe shrapnel, but no, they had to go the Donner route with a funky heart. It's part of the set up for the next story arc in Superman with the return of the classic Kandor, except, now it is re-enlarged and lets loose about a million Supermen on Earth with...less than Superman Red/Superman Blue Imaginary story results.
