xD Man, this makes no sense. Whatever, I hope they get The Punisher to fill in for Batman

They did that already with Azeral back during the Knightfall storyline. The whole character was a knock at readers that wanted Batman to act more like the Punisher.

So, I read said comic Monday and Batman's "death" was lame. Then I got to thinking...DC didn't do any big lead up to this. Superman got a huge send-up in the press when he died. Hal Jordan's descent into madness and becoming Parallax was kinda a big deal. But Bats got nothing but a blurb in an online UK paper. Hmm...methinks I smell BS here. Likely another character will take up the mantle of the Bat for a while but Brucie will be back.
