Should DC Make an Ongoing Shazam! Title?

I think DC is ignoring the obvious here. Magic, Gods, Demons, and Mythology mixed with Super-Heroes and the Marvel Family Legacy dating back to WWII and Ancient Egypt! Not to mention a certain ill-tempered fan-favorite by the name of Black Adam! There's a ton of untapped potential still waiting to be explored with these characters. Give it the star treatment: I'd want Geoff Johns to write the book, but he's doing enough already. So why not Dan Jurgens? He did great on the Superman books and the recent Booster Gold series! Alex Ross would be a perfect fit for cover, Shazam deserves to look iconic. Ethan Van Sciver would be amazing for pencils on this book. What do you guys think? Would you want to see something like this?

hmmm, well i was never on the book, but has trials of shazam ended? i would love to see geoff johns writing captian marvel though, and the whole marvel family. he will be bringing evil mary marvel, and black adam onto the JSA book he's writing... but i'm no fan of that new artist. and sure, dan jurgens would be fine on the art, but his writing's not to great. but then again... if alex ross was on the book, he would be co-ploting, not dan jurgens.

i don't really know... the only stuff i know about his new wizard abilities is what i read in countdown.

Seriously, that would suck. Go from being a pre-teen to an old man in a blink of an eye. You miss out on your entire high school and college years!

well billy's supposed to be able to deal with like, major responsibilities, right? that's why the old wizard chose him to be captain marvel. but yeah, missing out on your teen years wouldn't be that cool...
