it was disappointing in idaho today.

there was one exception though. if anyone is near boise, check out arch enemy comics. 50% off of everything except for new comics. toys, trade paperbacks, back issue comics...

it was a nice cheap haul today.

My FCBD sucked this year. My LCS did nothing special other than handing out the free issues given to them by publishers, not even a sale. But I shouldn't be suprised, the owner of my LCS is a greedy bastard, his crew is good though.

I also didn't get any of the issues I was looking forward to, apparantly there was a line of kids waiting outside the door before opening, so I didn't have a chance. I REALLY REALLY wanted that Green Lantern: Blackest Night #0 issue, you'll never find a bigger GL fan than me. But alas, it was not to happen. The Avengers one would have been nice too.

my LCS had a nice party. so sales... but there was some free food, and they made their own candy bars. i didn't get the candy bar, but it looked tasty.

the free comics were good, there were plenty of them there, even though i got there an hour after they opened. blackest night #0 was sick... and the avengers was insane too.

i wanted to hang out there for a while and talk to some people, since the owner guy is like, super cool, but my dad was waiting in the car so i had to go
