ok so i got cod mw2 for my cpu

and i need some help
the game looks great and it works great except it lags just alittle
how can i get that to stop
i cleaned up all the space i can on my pc
i lowered all the graphics options to the minimum and it still lags
any thing i can do to speed it up
without having to buy more ram or a better graphics card

What kind of pc are you rockin'? If you are below the reccomended requirements you'll probably get lag. Depending on how your pc set up you might get lag no matter how much you tweak the in game settings. Like if your processor speed is lower or you have less RAM, it doesn't matter how powerful your graphics and sound cards are you'll still get some lag.
As far as speeding it up you might try running defrag on the hard drive the game is installed on. To run it go to Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Defragmenter. That should put all your files in the right locations on the hard disk and allow the CPU to access them faster.

i got a dell inspiron 1525
i have played other games like this before and never any problems i don't know what else to do
i got it alot better than last night but now the game looks like crap and it still kinda lags
