The last generation can be considered officially over coming into 2010. What were in your opinion the best games of the last generation? My list is gonna be kinda big. The last generation produced some incredible games.

7th Generation Gems:

Dreamcast:
-Dino Crisis
-Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver
-Marvel vs. Capcom
-Resident Evil 3 & Code Veronica

PS2:
-God of War I & II
-Grand Theft Auto Series
-Guitar Hero Series
-King's Field: The Ancient City
-Spider-Man 1 & 2

XBox:
-Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance
-Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind
-Halo 1 & 2
-Marvel: Ultimate Alliance
-Star Wars: Battlefront I & II

Gamecube:
-Legend of Zelda: WindWaker & Twilight Princess
-Metroid Prime 1 & 2
-Resident Evil 4 & Zero

Gameboy Advance:
-Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap
-Metroid Fusion & Zero Mission

Would PS3 count? MGS4 and Uncharted 2 are some of the greatest games EVER.

I don't really think PS3 counts as "last generation" since it's among the newest console generation systems. If he meant generation as in people, then PS2 shouldn't even be on the list... since PS2 was on his own list I'm going to assume he meant generation as in everything that came before PS3/XBox 360/Etc.

Yep, that's what I meant. The last generation includes all systems released by companies after the 32/64-Bit eras, and before the XBox 360/PS3/Wii/PSP/DS. So that would include: Sega Dreamcast, Playstation 2, Gamecube, XBox (Original), & Gameboy Advance.
