I Need Dreamcast Suggestions

Postby BurningDoom » Fri Jan 15, 2010 3:42 pm

I just picked up a perfectly working Sega Dreamcast at my used record store for $30! Plus they had a promotion of 1/2 a game or accessory with it and they game me the most expensive one as the half-off one! Sweet! They didn't have much of a selection of games, mostly sports games which I don't care for. So I picked up Carrier, and Omikron: The Nomad Soul. Carrier looks like a Resident Evil rip-off, which isn't badbecause I'm aResident Evil fan;and Omikron looks like a mash-up of several game types, which sounds interesting. I even got an actual, working VMU memory card and a 2nd controller with it! Woo hoo!

I already have Resident Evil: Code Veronica, Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2, Dino Crisis, and Spider-Man on other systems. And I already have Carrier and Omikron: The Nomad Soul on Dreamcast. And I really didn't like Crazy Taxi or Shenmue. So I don't need those games.

Here's what I'm thinking about getting to round out my Dreamcast collection:

-Draconus: Cult of the Wyrm
-Marvel vs. Capcom
-Quake III: Arena
-Sonic Adventure
-SoulCalibur
-Unreal Tournament
-Vigilante 8: Second Offens

Any other suggestions that are non-sports? Thanks.

You can try Cannon Spike & Expendable. There shooters like Contra. Unreal Tournament, Quake III Arena & MVC are a given to get. Looney Tunes Space Race is one of the best racers on the DC, Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver, & Dead or Alive 2 are some awesome games as well. Good Luck!
