Gears of War 3

I'm not really a big fan of the the GoW franchise, having only played the first game but I thought I'd share. The trailer can be viewed here: http://gearsofwar.xbox.com/?uid=8747718&tid=358. The game is set to be released in about one year, on April 5, 2011. Also, the game is supposed to wrap up the story from the first to games and introduce a third faction, the Lambent.

Speculation time
I think this new enemy called the Lambent is going to try to be like the Flood in the Halo series. The short article on the site says that the Lambent are fighting both the Humans and the Locust, so I wouldn't be surprised if about halfway through the game they pull a "plot twist" and have the player fighting along side the Locust in order to take out the Lambent
