sorry I didn't type much (anything) about this. The bell rang as I was posting... ANYWAYS... I'm so excited now for this movie! IM's armor changed more than I thought it would! I'm glad that WM's did... that walmart exclusive from the last movie didn't look as cool as this suit might... can't wait for a front view!

I saw that at the ComicCollectorLive.com boards. Looks awesome! I just hope it can live up to the first movie. Iron Man was the greatest comic film ever made, with X-Men 2 as a close second.

I'm not that impressed. By the looks of it the thing is just a copy of the normal ironman suit with guns on it. This movie is going to have to work hard to win me over after seeing that it's following the civil war storyline vibe of tony coming out as ironman and the lame whiplash costume.

idk, its an official poster though, it came from marvel's website, maybe mk 3.5?
edit: the other movie poster has the same unibeam/arc reactor. so I think hasbro got it terribly wrong.

If the figure is based off of the movie, then it's wrong. The movie Iron Man has circular chest-pieces (all armor models had circles), as well as classic-style Iron Man in the comics. The 80s Iron Man comic armor (white & red one/aka Centurion Armor) had the triangular chest-piece.

He needs a hair cut, and some sort of body armor. Kinda pointless to go to all the trouble of creating those energy whips and becoming a villian if a cop with a gun can end your crime spree.

I think it looks great! It totally captures the look of a third-world country terrorist, which is what I think they were going for. Some terrorist cell got a hold of Tony's weapons (thank to Stane in the 1st movie), and does the best they can with the weaponry and their limited understanding of the technology. That's my take on it at least.
