Professional wrestler Jeff Hardy's court cases have been continued until Jan. 27, 2010, according to Eddie Meacham, an attorney from the law firm representing the Cameron resident.
Hardy was arrested by Moore County Sheriff's officers after a September search of his residence on Camp Easter Road yielded 262 Vicodin prescription pills, 180 Soma prescription pills, 555 milliliters of anabolic steroids, a residual amount of powder cocaine and items of drug paraphernalia.
At the time, Hardy was charged with felony trafficking in opium, two counts of felony possession with intent to sell or deliver a Schedule III controlled substance, felony maintaining a dwelling to keep controlled substance, felony possession of cocaine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
Hardy, 32, and his brother, Matt, wrestling as the Hardy Boyz, were six-time World Wrestling Entertainment World Tag Team Champions. Individually, Jeff Hardy held the WWE World Champion belt at one time and the World Heavyweight Championship twice.

Professional wrestler Jeff Hardy was indicted by a Moore County grand jury Monday on several drug charges related to a search of his Cameron home last September by law enforcement agents.
Moore County sheriff's deputies arrested Hardy after the September search of his residence on Camp Easter Road near Cameron turned up 262 Vicodin prescription pills, 180 Soma prescription pills, 555 milliliters of anabolic steroids, a residual amount of powder cocaine and items of drug paraphernalia.
At the time, Hardy was charged with felony trafficking in opium, two counts of felony possession with intent to sell or deliver a schedule III controlled substance, felony maintaining a dwelling to keep controlled substance, felony possession of cocaine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
Hardy, a native of Cameron, had a December probably cause hearing on his cases delayed until Jan. 27, but prosecutors moved forward with the grand jury indictments, setting the stage for the cases to be placed on the county's Superior Court docket.
