Where the heck is Fwoosh's Trading area?

Postby blaynescott » Fri Feb 20, 2009 9:38 pm

I've been browsing around the Fwoosh boards, and I can't locate any obvious "Trading Post"-type thread area. It's all just discussion about making customs, rather than acquiring parts.

... since I've heard of people trading on Fwoosh before, can some kind soul point me toward the correct URL?

Thanks,
-Blayne

you have to be a member to view the Trading Post. the customs gallery you saw was the post right beneath it.

i've had the same problem... i think maybe you have to post more, or be more active on the site in some way, i dunno. i like it hear better anyhow. your thread doesn't get buried in like, 5 minutes, which is way better.

I haven't logged into my fwoosh account for a week, and now it's telling me I need to reactivate it. Ugg. What silliness...

I have had several great trades on the fwoosh, and even made a couple of freinds here in manchester, who thought they were lonesome action figure geeks!!!!
However, I agree with the post above, not only does it take a long time and several pm requests to actually join the trade board, but your trade thread is buried and any threads you might be interested in are soon swallowed up too!
Another thing is the actual trades themselves: for the most part, they will be :

Have: Current wave of XXX, previous wave of xxxx...Wants: Variants which have either never been released or are released next year!!!!

Some very nice people on there, as there are here, and you will find some familiar names on there too!

i too have noticed the change ever since they had to reformat. they got hit with a nasty virus, knocked them out, and linked to alot a boardies there. it was a bad time. they took care of it though, and are taking extra precautions now.
