Help Identifying X-Men Series

Does anyone know which X-Men toy series this figure is from? The packaging is different from the earlier X-Men figures. The date on the back of the card is 1998. Apparently they sold them at KB Toys since it has a price sticker on it.

If you ever find an Xmen fig carded like that with anything other then a KB sticker on it I'd be very suprised. Although X-Men are very low on my list of interests I do know a bit.

For instance that Cable III fig was part of a KB repack set. They were just old figures repacked on new cards and sent to KB as 3/$10.00 specials as the sticker says.

I'm not positive but I think there were only 2 assortments released like that and probably 6 figs per assortment for a grand total of 12. There may have been more or less but 6 is usually the common number for assortments so that's what I'm guessing.

In conclusion that figure is from the "KBToys Reissue Series" :wink:

Thanks CJK. That's exactly what I was looking for. I was looking at the Cable from the X-Force release and the figure does look the same, but it did look like he came with different accessories. At least they changed something up a bit.

Yes Dr, we know you don't like all those colors. I'm guessing from your customs you just like green huh?
