It's a bird! It's a plane! It's... new JP toys?!

Woah! Some awesome news or what?? For the first time since 2001, Hasbro is releasing a new line of Jurassic Park action figures! The new JP: Dinosaurs line will have 10 figures in all, though only 8 have been sighted. If you've been sleeping under a rock the last week or so, there will be four two-packs made up of JP3 hatchling repaints and four dinosaur-human packs made up of repainted JP/TLW dinosaurs and JP3 humans. Yes they are repaints, but this time around Hasbro did an awesome job with the coloring of the figures. These are cool new toys that seem to please even repaint-haters.

Occording to Hasbro, the JP licence was never dropped in the first place. Hopefully that means more JP toy series to come in the future.

Thanks for the update! That's great they decided to come out with another series. I know there's still a big fan base out there.

The only problem, is it true they are only being sold at KayBee Toys? Or maybe they just hit the shelves there first. There aren't any KayBee toy stores anywhere near me

Sadly, yes, they're a KayBee exclusive. JPtoys.com has contact with a Hasbro Executive who confirmed this was true. Though it is odd that some Hasbro people are saying they're officially released, while others are saying that there's no such thing.

Me neither. The nearest Kaybee is like... a two hour drive! That's what eBay is for. LOL


UPDATE: Thanks to good ol' eBay, I'll get getting the new MOC Triceratops/Human and Tyrannosaurus/Human packs soon. From the same seller, there's also a Dimetrodon/Human set right now. Anyone interested had better jump on the auction and Buy-It-Now; I doubt it'll last much longer.

Well, after a LOOOOOOOOOONG trip I reached the only single KayBee store left in my entire state, hoping that they had the new Jurassic Park Dinosaurs line in stock... and they did!!

They had all of the dinosaur two-pack sets, so what did I do? Buy every single one they had in stock, of course! They had a full case, which (occording to the store clerk) had just been put out minutes before I came. This means I have two of each dino two-pack, plus two larger sets that are on their way. Woohoo!

I used to be worry I wouldnt get my set of the JP toys, amusingly the Kaybee closest to me STILL has just about all of them in stock with the dino two packs about $2 each
