Remember that nice old lady i was talking about that gave me a few figures for free?...well, she gave me:

Juggernaut (Light Up)
Apocalypse (Animated)
2 Storms (Water Wars and Animated)
Jubilee (Robot Wars)
Rogue, Gambit, Dalshim, and Zangief (Marvel vs Street Fighter)

And she gave me a Wasp (red orange grey color scheme) form the Animated Avengers line...so what is my problem? Well the Wasp figure has a head sculpt that looks exactly like Shadowcat's from the X-men Evolution cartoon. I've been wanting to do a Shadowcat custom for a while now but I dont want to destroy this Wasp figure...She just looks so nice

I can't find anymore Wasp figures like this anywhere so I dont know if I should wreck this one to make an awesome Shadowcat...

So do I pop the head off of this one or do I keep her as she is?...shes gorgeous...but I know the Shadowcat would be just as nice...CONFUSED!!!!

LOL... At least it wasn't tuna salad Tyro. That stuff stinks even worse.

I would say go for it Doc. Even though you can't find a replacement now, you will be able to find one eventually. In the meantime, you will have your one of a kind Shadowcat figure.

Since you've already put too much thought into it, you will be happy either way. Just flip the coin and let it decide

I've decided to keep her that way. Partly because shes awesome and partly because my fingers hurt from prying the hair off a Robot Wars Storm figure. That thing was fused to her skull or something!! :evil:

Whenever I want to do a custom figure, which is rarely, I always wait until I get the figure I want to work on cheap, and not in good condition. Your figure seems to be rare from what you said in your post. This is not my area of expertise, but, my oppinion is, No I do not think you should deface this cool figure to make a custom. I mean, 1. do you like this figure?(obviously you do. 2. Can you replace it easily?(so far you havnt even seen another, let alone have the option of buying another) 3. Will it be easyer for you ro find another action figure to make your custom then it will be to replace the one you have?(yes, customs have more freedom to start from many more different things, your wasp figure will not be a wasp figure the minute it changes in any way).

Yep, the bare minimum I need is her head so I should go find another one because this one is just pretty :wink:
