G.I. Joe the pursuit of cobra

Postby ScarecrowMan666 » Fri Jun 18, 2010 2:56 pm

What's the deal with this line? Is it meant to be an extension on the ROC line? Or is it something else entirely? I noticed they are using the same theme with Cobra Commander that was used in ROC, so maybe. Does anyone have any information on this?

Should call it another nail in the coffin of a beloved franchise up there with transformers 3: bay must think we're stupid.

Personally, I loved the Rise of Cobra stuff, and I'm loving the Pursuit of Cobra stuff. I don't see where you get that it's a nail in the coffin of the franchises. I hadn't been interested in GI Joe in years until Rise of Cobra came out. I love the way the figures are done.

I actually really enjoyed the GI Joe movie...My only complaint was the fact that Cobra Commander and Destro didn't have enough screen time. Which is why I'm hoping for a sequel.

Maybe with cobra commander they'll give him a costume more like the show/comic. I mean the reflective faceplace would be really cool.

I haven't seen any in the wild yet but they look amazing! They are meant to be an extension of ROC.
The POC line is meant to fill the space until Renagades and then the sequel to ROC should be out in 2012 maybe? Not sure of the date but they are making one.
