. When I first heard that the ML line was being sold to hasbro I was worried that the line was doomed and I was right the ML have been turn into a more generic version of its self. The first thing that got me pissed was the sculpt of the figures faces, they look so cheesey and ridiculous
. Hercules face looked like he belonged to play schools rescue heros line along with banshee. The faces of Emma Frost and X3 Beast are down right disturbing, Frost looks like and old hag and beast looks kind of deformed (his eyes are too close together). The second gripe is the crappy half bum aproche to the articulation, they all seemed as if they cut corners to make each one (with the exception to planet hulk, who was just the reused mold of war hulk). The examples are in the feet and hands, all the figures feet and hands are solid parts, there is no toe joint or joints for the hands which was one of the main reasons that ML became so popular. The 3rd complain is that that paint jobs on the figures are little to non exsitant, they usually end up just using the plastic color and the paint jobs that do go on are so flat and plain that they look childish (lack of a better word). The last thing is that the way there put together is very different from the original ML line, this makes customizers jobs harder now because you can't just mix and match the old series with the new one, not without some adjustments. for instants the pegs can only fit for the new wave of ML. The head joints are not on a ball and socket but in some weird peg and hole thing.
The Hasbro ML line is also more expensive and comes with out a comic. The original series was and is cheaper and comes with a comic to give some story or explanation to the character, I know there were times that I bought a figure just becuse of its looks and felt a little sort of releif to know the back story of the character (call me silly). The packaging of the toybiz ML line was more durable and more stylish I think. The packaging for the hasbro figure seem cheap and corney, the whole thing is taped together and and gets damaged more easily (a problem for the hardcore collector who keeps them in the packaging).
My finale thoughts of the new marvel legends from hasbro is that It feels like they took something that was great and different with and edge to it and then they raped it and pimpied out with the end result of a watered down disney version of it self. I was a Marvel Legends fan and collector but now its gone. I haven't been more mad than when they came out the new ecw. They say a true fan knows when to bow out , well hasbro I'm out
. Im going after the new Legendary heros.

, cause I have a feeling that you'll just follow me around cleanin up my cussing , but how about a list of the sh#t I can't say. and explain why you enforce these rules (this should be a new topic, right!). but back to the hasbro figures they still suck and there no longer for the more mature collector, (and yes mature people do swear). I know there is a few of you who defend the new line and can argue many of the facts back and forth but one thing is clear they are now being targeted for little kids or should I say younger kids. there just a gimick now with less creativity. the proof is because there using movie characters. hasbro dosent even have to read one marvel comic to make the figures their pumpin out. its like the difference between the original ecw and the new watered down wwe ecw ( I like using this example
)

but lets first see if they can even navigate there way to this site, especially through all the porn, riiight
. but still back to the hasbro wave I'm kind of sorry for opening that can of worms but Im new here and I had to get it off my chest, (freedom of speech or is it press? well what ever of it is left,
)
