Asssssin Creed 3... Mcfarlane?

So It's been recently announced that Mcfarlane has been awarded the Assassins Creed 3 license, after NECA has held it through the entire series... Is anyone else annoyed by this? NECA has been making wicked 7" scale figures, with great detail, articulation and accessories. Mcfarlane will now be reducing the franchise down to 4" scale, horribly articulated pitifully painted monstrosities. Honestly the Connor figure they released looks like a Chinese knock-off...
