I always felt that was A McFarlane spider-man but THE McFarlane Spider-man is this one

More Iconic (in my opinion) head sculpt and much better coloring

I think so. I think its the Dark Spidey. I don't know if its the Pic or what but the Hands look odd. The Fingers and palms are longer looking to me. Mine dose not look like that. I have the Traditional Blue and Red McSpidey so maybe that's the difference.

These are the exact same figure, fingers, heads and everything. The only difference is the paint and plastic color.

Theres actually three versions that I know of that people consider McFarlane Spiderman

to me they are listed as so

Blue/Red Wall crawling Spider-man (definitive McFarlane Spider-man)
Black/Red street light Spider-man Aka The Spider-Man you have (Has IMO the worst paint scheme but I love the Iconic head sculpt)
Blue/Red Spider-man (not 1000% sure where it came from, I THINK its from fearsome foes box set, but he has a different head sculpt)

yeah the black going for more then the more traditional Blue just sounded stupid to me but when they get so confusing I see where the confusion came from. Especially seeing as the Fearsome foe one is much cheaper then the black

Ok guys.... This is the REAL McFarlane Spider-man... because it is how Todd drew him in the comics:
Image

The figure we have in question is more of a Campbell version. It is considered by most as the definitive Spidey figure, though he's too tall for Spidey.
There are 3 Spidey figures using this mold, seen as figure #1 , #4 and #5 (left to right)...
Image

Figure #1 - is the original (from the earlier SMC line) and is the most expensive, once seen going up to $100 at ebay at one time
Figure #4 - is one included in the Fearsome Foes boxset and comes with a different head and shade of blue
Figure #5 - is a re-issue of #1 released in the later SMC line. It's uses the same mold but has inferior plastic, darker red and black instead of blue. And that's the figure you got.

Hope this helps :D!
