Do I have to pay to post a custom figure?

Postby Randy_Valentine » Thu Aug 08, 2013 2:37 pm

Sorry, I may receive some heat for this but I'm struggling to find how to actually submit pictures of my own custom? I've seen a price guide and as proud as I am of my work, it's not worth ten bucks just for some Realmer feedback.
Perhaps once I have more figures to display I'd pay, but I'm not too keen to pay just to "dip my toe" into this fantastic new art form.

If anyone can give me some help on where to go to submit a creation that would be much appreciated.

No, you don't have to pay to submit a custom to the Custom Showcase. To submit a custom go to the Custom Showcase on the main site and if you are signed in, the second link on the sidebar (left side of the page) is "Submit Your Custom", click on that link and fill out the form. There is an option to donate to help keep the site running, but it is not required that you do.

What leafman said, if you don't want to pay click the "no maybe next time" button on the submit custom form.
You'll be lucky if you're one of the few to find someone who can tolerate you.

Thanks very much guys. I hit a snag because my photos are too large to upload and my camera's decided to stop working. But at least now I know how to do this. I saw the "no thanks" button but for some reason thought that was just a way of declining to post a figure

I'm such a dufus.

You should be able to resize your photos easily using photoshop, gimp or even paint like I do :D

I genuinely didn't know I could do that... I'm like one of the monkeys at the start of 2001: A Space Odyssey at times :)

Once again, thanks so much for the help. I have now submitted my first figure.
