Yea, it works for me too. It is a pop-up window that appears, so maybe you have a pop-up blocker stopping it?

no... the window pops up, but when I click on the smilies, they do nothing...

alright, this is puny and insignifigant, but above the "^Board index" thing (bottom left of the index page) it says "-->"... sorry, I'm at my Dad's place, so I'm extremley bored!

I didn't see what you were talking about at first, but I did see it with Internet Explorer. It didn't happen with Firefox. It should be fixed now.

It should paste the smiley code back into your post. I tried this with both Firefox and Internet Explorer and it seemed to work fine. What browser are you using?

If you are serious, it sounds like you have some other computer problems going on. In theory, no website should lock up your browser, and no browser should lock up your computer. You may want to get a virus scanner and do a scan, or there could be some other resource issue like not enough (or bad) memory.

I'm using Internet explorer... I just tried again, and once again, nothing.
edit: It turns out, that when I click on a smiley, it posts the code at the top of that window (posting.php?mode=smilies&f=1), instead of the ACTUAL post window

That's really strange. I just found a tip about this issue on the support forums, and it is an Internet Explorer only problem. I made a slight change in the code. Will you see if it did anything since I can't see it?
