Figure Realm is looking for your ideas and feedback. Are there any areas of the website you would like to see improved or expanded upon? Are there are any features you would like to see added? Or if you think everything is perfect, let us know what your favorite features of the website are, and maybe somebody else will have an idea to improve it.

I suspect this topic can get kind of long. I'll try and summarize what has been mentioned below to help keep a tab on things.

General

Forums
* Signature restrictions [Completed] - The maximum dimensions for signature images are 100h x 500w. This isn't changing.

These features are either the way the forums are designed, or would require major changes. The forums are written by a 3rd party, which means we have limited control over changes or additions that can be made. However, this doesn't mean it was a bad idea

A points system. You kow, like if someone likes your post they give you a + or -. Like a user-based honor system.

Or ranks. Just to show how much you come on here.

I like the ranking system, quite a few of the other forums I visit have them.

Is it possible to have an off forum chat, for instant talking for whomever is on? I think we had one a while back, but not a lot of people took advantage of it...

I recommend mIRC as the chat client for IRC, its free and pretty simple to use, I used it for several years. You can get it at www.mirc.com.

Yeah, a bunch of forums I go to have a pop up IRC chat running on mIRC, seems to work pretty well

The chatroom has come up a couple times before. I like the idea, but I've never found anything that has worked well. I'm not sure what's involved in managing a channel on IRC, but that is a good way to go, especially if we can get some kind of pop up applet like Azrael mentioned. Can you give a link or two to some forums that have one so I can see what they use?
