I found related pictures showing other figures in that line, but it doesn't show the manufacturer or a release date. It looks like they are made by the same company who makes Gundams right now though.

Ok looks like the figures in the first picture I posted are not the same as what abeam posted (and wha are in the second pic). The first pic is BanDai's Master Grade kit. Still no info on who is making the other figures.

Found a pic of Goku from sdcc


The card info is a bit blurry but it is the best I have found so far.
After doing a bit more reading the company is SH Figuarts

wow those figures are great. i searched up reviews on youtube and they look pretty spectacular.
goku and gohan have the best headsculpts ive ever seen and piccolo has a great assortment of accessories

seems they go for around $30 and the best part is that its in 6" scale
