Thanks again for the nice comments guys!...

I went camping for vacation this summer and thought I would try my hand at some woodcarving...I've done some before, but it's been a long time. Anyways, this is about a 6 foot length of Aspen wood that has been stripped of it's bark and fashioned into a walking stick. I decided to use a conveniently placed limb knot to carve a wolf's head. This is still a work in progress, but you can see how the carving develops from the left side to the right. Hope to get this finished sometime soon when it gets a little cooler outside. Hope you like!

yeah! i also admire sculptors.. especially wood carvers. back in college, we made a documentary about a great sculptor here in our place, we saw how he makes life size statues and sculptures and monuments. i really wanted to try my hand on wood carving for the longest time.

your really great man! love that wolf head sculpture of yours. your really a great artist! :)

Thanks for all of the positive comments guys, I haven't been posting much in a while due to working major overtime and working intensely on personal and commission projects. Here's one...a little commission piece I did for Figurerealm's own "SEPIROTH". These are Sepiroth's original copyrighted characters "Cobalt" and "Krazy". They are seen in their human form with their anthropomorphic forms represented behind them. I honestly can't tell you much about them except they are part of an online comic book project that Sepiroth is working on. Enjoy...

ahhh.. so she's the female character with the wolf alter ego? what's the other animal behind the male character? is it a baboon? looks massive! i like it! 8)

if i'm gonna have an alter ego, maybe i'll transform into a squirrel... i don't know... :? i wanted it to be a big scary looking bear, but a bear's characteristics don't resemble me at all.

good luck on the comic project sir!
