Toy series I can't remember....

I wonder if you guys can help me with this...I had two of these things. One of them, appeared to be a plastic soccerball, but it opened up to reveal a battle station with a really cool miniature action figure that went inside. The other one for all intents and purposes appeared to be a perfectly normal flashlight, I think the light even worked on it. But when you transformed it, it turned into a rocket type ship with another really cool miniature action figure that went inside it. I've been trying to find these things for years, but I cannot remember the name. Can someone help?

No I had some Mighty Max and Micro Machines...this was a separate series, the small figures retained basic articulation, and looked sort of like cybernetic mutants.

i remember a line like that but mine was a hand grenade and a .45 pistol that opened up to reveal a playset and soldiers. Wish i still had them as they were really well made.

The soccer ball should belong to Computer Warriors.

The military themed play sets where called Army Gear and where made by Galoob.

I never had any Computer Warriors but in 2nd grade I got the Swiss Army Knife that turned into a boat. I took it school and my teacher saw it when it was in knife mode and pulled a jack move on me. Boo to my second grade teacher.
