Well back in the days, you technically could post a 150, but that was back in the days, and he never changed it since, so there is stays, until he changes it.

I was thinking a place to talk specifically for figure based dioramas. I also noticed some of the clutter on "Other Custom Creations" is from links to pictures of mods found on other sites that are not the poster's own work. A place for 2-d art would be nice too.

I think we need a rule against thread necromancy (posting in a thread that hasn't been posted in for months or even years).
I've noticed a recent trend of people posting replies in threads that are several years old.

I think it depends on whether the reviving posts are being made by the customizer or by someone else. If it's by someone else I don't see the problem.

If it's not a thread about a custom then I don't see the problem period.

heres an idea to get capt some cash
we did this on a few sites i ran
have the users donate how ever much you want we did $20 and they get access to a hidden thread where only those members can see whats posted there
also they get a differnt colored name, bigger avatar and the right to cange your realmer status to what ever you want and anything else you can throw in that don't cost anything but a bit of work on your part

the other was we got a few bucks for selling t shirts for our sites but it only worked for the hardcore fans of the site $20 bucks a shirt it cost bout 5 to make and then the shipping only made a little bit of money but we also got free advertising from the shirts ppl wore

I think someone mentioned that before. Like one of the ideas was have Blight Post and pre op side by side and say "At Figurerealm, we LOVE plastic!"
heh heh... or at least the face... cause no one wants to look at that fat cross dresser...

New idea in the fight against spam, add a "are you human?" question to registration for the forums, it should weed out the bots (we might have this already I don't remember, it's been awhile since I registered.) Also require more complex passwords for login to prevent people who sign up but never post from getting hacked and used for spam. I recommend this because the most recent spammer has/had an account for the main site attached to the forum account.
