GI Joe: Renegades

Checked this show out on the 26th on the HUB channel. I gotta say it was actually really good. I am actually not a GI joe fan. But this show was pretty cool. Duke sounded a tad young and they ruined Mind Bender. But the story was fresh. Flint was a total dbag(loved it). Snake eyes could kill with a look and was just tough as nail. The new bio viper was pretty cool. Ripcord aka Will Smith annoyed me but didn't haveto deal with him long.

I really want to watch this (being an avid G.I. Joe fan) but I sadly don't have the hub.

i taped it too but haven't watched it. My dvr is ready to explode with stuff i have to watch lol. I'd like to see a joe show more like the comic. In the comic they were alot more military like in a semi realistic way but then again more than a few of the writers were ex military which i read after a review of how gritty the stories about snake eyes in vietnam was in the various flashbacks of his past. A few of the guys wrote for the marvel "The 'Nam" comic which was surprisingly violent and realistic as they wrote based on what they'd seen. Plus the comics were kinda fun as Cobra Commander wasn't as stupid as he was in the cartoon and cobra had so much financial support in the comics they offered their soldiers retirement and investment benefits like a 401K.

Watched all the episodes last night and honestly.... WTF....the art sucked, Duke looked gay ( I mean really gay ) Roadblock had stupid sideburns, Storm Shadows mask was to big for his face. The only thing I found cool about the whole show was Snake-Eyes..I mean this is one BADA$$ ninja, my only issue with Snake-Eyes would probably be his pillow pants (other than that he's awesome ) OH! can't forget....FLINT IS the biggest D.BAG,I love it.......best episodes the return of the Arashikage

That's the problem with Resolute for me, it's the fact that they set a whole new standard for the characters in Resolute also the art was top notch, they took Cobra Commander and turned him into a force to be reckoned with, the Resolute Roadblock doesn't rhyme anymore ( thank god ) Gung Ho has a shirt on under his vest ( thank god ) and the fact that real bullets were flying instead of lasers.....and Snake-Eyes was tha SH!T......my point is that after something epic like Resolute it was going to be hard for them too come back with something could match it but I find that Renegades just doesn't do it! as for the ninja hairdoo, he will now be known as Biebers Shadow fighting ZITS with the ancient technique of " PRO-ACTIVE", while slicing down foes this unpredictable ninja is heard singing " Baby, baby......Oh! Baby, baby, baby...Baby, baby, Oh! Baby, baby.........OH! SHUT THE "F" UP...( "yells Snake-Eyes...............I bet a scenario like this would get Snake-Eyes to speak

Turns out General Abernathy (didn't he used to be Hawk?) is voiced by lee majors so that's one point in its favor.
