I looked at the "bratpack contest" and the "armored up" contest and I didn't see a deadline for either. I think you should write the time/day that is the latest you accept entries when you post a contest. I guess maybe you have it somewhere, but it should really be in the announcemt of the contest.

Character color codes ?

A list of paint brand and color for figures ? like the skintone used for a conan ? the yellow for wolverine ? stuff like that ?
I say this because maybe you get a figure and just want to touch up a paintjob without painting the full figure ?
eg 200x Zodak belt is bogun metal and chainmail highlights (gamesworkshop)
just an idea but I would def find it useful

A bit of both really , like if you have a great mix for say..deadpool ,blood red and chaos black (sorry never made a deadpool) put it on the list , if you know the straight from bottle colors for gambit pink or angels flesh tone ? the purple for skeletors armour ??

think of a colour guide for new and old customisers who wanna try a character they have seen , they can look up the character list and see what colours match best to the original toy and what colours customisers use ? maybe even a most used recipe ?
like........
Deadpool ....custom color blood red /chaos black ...base used moonknight
wolverine..... ice blue and blazing yellow ...base used ml6 brown wolvie ?

you know like a more indepth description people can use ?

I know its a wierd idea but i would def use it . dunno if anyone else would .

the new look of the custom figure showcase newest figures... looks terrible! sorry to whoever designed it but the old look is like a million times better...

I respectfully disagree. I find it far easier to use and. Much nicer looking.

thats fine but... I cant see any figures? I click on the pic and it comes up with a blank page. Its been happening since the new look and on various networks for me...

"Blast from the past" feature? This is something I've seen on another site I belong to and think is pretty cool. Basically, an older figure is showcased, each day, at random, on the main page (I'm guessing, because it'd be a random selection process, that this could just be scripted/coded into the web page so that Captain Coder and/or the various moderators wouldn't actually have to maintain it from day-to-day, it'd be an automatic thing.) Anything in the custom showcase after a certain time period, let's say a year, would be eligible.

Might give people a chance to comment on, or just notice, something that they missed out on before they became a member or just because it slipped through the cracks. Or it could just be for nostalgia's sake for older members.

great idea really like that, went through the showcase once and trust me it is a long process, but was not registered at the time.

That's a great idea. I had considered adding something like that for the Checklists, but hadn't really thought about doing it for the Custom Showcase. I'll add that to the future project list.

Seems like there should be some sort of award for that Last I saw a count, I think there were over 30,000 customs in the Showcase!
