Customizing on YT (almost) live

Here's the deal. I'm thinking of putting my youtube channel to good use. Other than posting figure reviews in Polish (because noone does that here) with English subs, I have in mind showing people how I do my customs. I mean record the whole process, edit, cut it, maybe speed up, something like that. I don't think anyone tried that, other than Warrack with his vlog on building his Secret Santa gift. What do you guys think? Would there be any interest? Would YOU watch an (approximately) hour or maybe even 2h (in two parts) long video?

I don't have anything there yet, but I've shot a couple of reviews, so I should start uploading this or next week. If all goes well, I'll try to shoot the custom thing now too.

I've never seen anybody else's custom work up close, so I'd be interested to see the process. It might make me realize mine don't really measure up... wait, so no, maybe I don't want to see it... I think it would be cool.

I see that translations on hour long videos will be toublesome, because I'm having a hard time to keep myself interested in translating a 20 minut review right now* Maybe I'll put less talk in these and stick to written comments instead.

Sorry for any possible errors, translating and listening to k-pop aren't the best thing to do simultaneously. I'm working on fixing them now.

Okay, I've started recording yesterday. Do you guys know a good and free video editing software? A little more advanced than Windows Movie Maker. There'll be a lot of footage showing me paiting the figure, so I'd like to speed up most of it like in the speed paiting videos.

Can't say from experience but I've heard lots of good things about Zwei-stein and Wax! Maybe check google for reviews on best free video editing software.
