Marvel Vs. DC Round 2

Back in the late 90's these 2 titans of the comic industry decided to duke it out with Marvel winning by 1 match, if memory serves me correctly. Now I just want to know who you would want to see fight with the characters that each company has right now in their roster, and who you think would win the match-up, and most importantly why you think that character would win.

Here are some guide lines:

1)the character has to be existing or still exists in their respective universe
ie: Wally West cannot be used because he is not in the current DC universe.

2)You can only use characters from earth 1 or going to be part of earth 1 on DC, meaning power girl, huntress and the jsa is good.

3)You can only use characters from Marvel earth 616...no ultimate universe or any other kind of universe from marvel.
My Match ups:

Batman vs. Iron Man = Both Billionaires and both equipped with state of the art technology, but in the end Bruce is an excellent tactician and a better martial fighter. Batman wins.

Gambit vs. Grifter= Both con men and both extremely agile and flashy. However Cole Cash's history has been wiped out and since his edge came from being part of team 7 I would give this to Gambit.

Superman vs. World War Hulk= This is a tough one... I mean we have the last son of krypton against the one character that literally beat everyone in his universe. I would give this to Clark because of sheer favoritism.

Huntress vs. Hope Summers= Hope is considered THE most powerful mutant, because of her ability to borrow other mutant's abilities...having said that Huntress is not a mutant so it would just be a match of skill which Hope has plenty of being raised by Cable..I give this one to Hope.

Wonder Woman vs Valkyrie= I think this would be a great match up being as both characters are equipped with magical weapons and excellent warriors. I would give this one to Diana because she is the princess of the amazons.

These are the match ups that i have right now. I would love to hear from you guys on who you would want to see pit against each other and who you think would win.

I'd love to play but I'm afraid I know nothing about the current Marvel Universe dealing and less than that about what is happening in the DC world.

For example I love Juggernaut but I have no idea what the current Stat. Quo is on him. What I'd really like to see is a Marvel Vs. DC villians edition.

Cassandra Cain vs. Taskmaster vs. Snake eyes

Cassandra: has a batarang and duel sai

Taskmaster: has Double edge sword and shield

Snake Eyes: has Duel Katanas and 10 throwing knives/stars

Location: ABondoned warehouse full of boxes and crates

All three characters have and WILL kill. Winner is declared when all other opponents are killed, incapacitated, and/or otherwise stopped from continuing.


I guess this fight kind of breaks rule cause of the inclusion of snake eyes but I think it would be an EPIC match.

I have to give that match to Deathstroke. The using 90% of his brain is just really a big help

Gotta go with Sinister. He has brains and powers! Captain America easy last one not sre really guess it also depends on if Nate Grey was his omnipotent version or not

Sentry vs Superman

Location: Desolate planet, barren, wasteland like, breathable air, one very near yellow sun

Superman takes early rounds, with more experience fighting and feeding off the yellow sun. Sentry comes back in a flurry, angered and confused by the sheer strength of Superman. Superman rallies back in a flurry of his own, now concerned that he has unleashed the depth of his strength and the Sentry has not succumbed to it yet. Explosions, planet cracking, volcanoes sprouting and erupting, and costumes and capes torn and decimated. Sentry, fearful of losing control, falls into unconsciousness and Superman, heat vision glowing and muscles bulging, finally powers down, looking to be the victory. Sky darkens, thuder clouds appear, lightning crashes, and the Sentry, eyes glowing yellow, rises, darkened and maddened, now taken over by the Void, with absolutely no regard to life, attacks Superman unsuspectingly and ferociously, tearing into the man of steel like never before. Superman, writhing in pain, bleeding, instinctively fights back in a desperate attempt, fails, and leads the Void on a chase, beyond the thunder clouds and dark skies, to absorb more yellow sunlight and recover. The Void, witnessing Superman's recovery, engulfs the kryptonian darkness, shielding him for the yellow sun's healing rays, and now attacking Superman's mind, showing him images of failure, death of loved ones, and the fall of Earth, in hopes to break Superman's will. Instead, Superman becomes enraged and proceeds to break free from the Void's dark cloak. Meanwhile, The Sentry's consciousness surfaces, having seen inside Superman's mind, sharing the same fears of failure, loss, destruction, and dejection, helps to fight the Void off. Together, Superman and Sentry effectively put down the Void, eradicating the persona and leaving a de-powered, helpless and ashamed Bob Reynolds lying in the wake, while Superman himself is left lying by Bob's side. Having both been driven to their absolute limits, neither can fully stand to continue, as both do but both drop in the epitome of exhaustion. As the planet's imminent destruction lies ahead, with both men unable to fend for themselves or escape, lava flows eerily close, volcanoes roar and both Bob and Kal close their eyes, embracing death and destiny. Clouds part, sunlight creeps through, gently touching Superman, enough for him to gather himself and Bob and fly off the planet, saving himself and the Sentry and ending the greatest battle the universe has never seen.

Luthor vs Osborn
full Iron Patriot Armor with back up Green Goblin glider and pumpkin bombs vs orange ring wielding with back up kryptonite-powered armor.

i'm giving it to Luthor on the count that Osborn doesn't lose his mind and revert to the Goblin persona. orange ring trumps patriot armor, power ring become null when it can't decide if Luthor or Osborn is greedier, kryptonite armor vs pumpkin bombs and glider, kryptonite armor wins.

If Osborn does go crazy and the goblin persona takes over, i expect the fight to end in a gigantic explosion in which neither man SHOULD survive, but both will secretly walk away from and plot revenge on one another.
