If Toy Story was actually real??

So my son's been well into Toy Story lately, to the point he'll watch it and straight after he'll say AGAIN. So yeah the Toy Story trilogy has been on a lot in my house recently and this has got me thinking. What if it were actually real?, how would our custom figures behave? what characters would they have?

E.G. My He-Man custom was made from a Batman body and He-man head so would he think like He-man but move like Batman?

Then you get to the Frankensteined figures how would they be, talk about split personality

E.G. My 2011 Mumm-Ra made from various figures would think like Mumm-ra but his upper body would behave like Beta Ray Bill with his legs and arms doing some sort of Venom movements.

Then my Darththomas81 custom would be real messed up think it has something like 14 figures in that one .

Just the ramblings of a guy who has spent far too much time watching/listening to toy story

Or maybe the customizing process would be seen as some sort of arcane art by the other toys and the customizer is actually imbuing the dead plastic with a new soul, right time to turn of Toy Story and get back in the real world.

Id suppose they would kinda become like Sids toys from Toy Story 1. They never really seemed to have any crisis of identity or anything but they seemed dark or sad. That could have been due to the fact that they were abused and blown up and such.


There is this one scene where Sid is using a magnifying glass to burn a hole on to woodys head and woody just sits there with his toyish grin and takes it but when Sid leaves the room he screams in pain and runs around to eventually find a bowl of milk to dunk his head and sooth the pain....Just something to think about next time you saw a toys arm off or sand their joints...what kind of silent hell are you putting them through. Your torturing them and they just sit their and smile for you THEN after you put them through that, you put them on shelfs just to stare at like some cheep harlots! Never playing with them. Toys are for playing! Not for your sick pervision of abusing and torturing them then putting them on display for the entire world to see there scars and their naked vulnerability.... YOUR A MONSTER!

Haha, I never even thought of the pain I could be causing them. It's almost enough to make me quit customizing......... Almost. I think I'll just believe that they know they're moving on to better things at least then I can sleep through the guilt.

there was a topic like thisawhile back on toyark, this is what i posted..

i could see it being like red Vs blue with both teams constantly spying and trying to attack one another

on one set of shelves id have decepticons and villians from marvel and dc, then throw in a few star wars baddies plus the covent from halo..a few predators.. and with darksied as the grand leader

and on the other tables or shelves we have the avengers ,the justice league..a few halo spartans and a small clone trooper strike force. maybe yoda as the leader of the good guys? lol

I've always thought that if toy story was real we'd be the good guys, taking old usless toys and repurposing them into one of a kind figures, but maybe we would be like sid and just be considered evel do-ers

Btw, when I returned home after seeing the Avengers, the first thing I notice was that my MS Skrull was lying on the ground. Suicide? Murder? He did stand beside Loki.
