airbrush

i just bought an airbrush and compressor and im not having much luck with painting my figures. i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on paint and techniques. the paint i used comes out a little clumpy. i used the thinner and its still kinda clumpy. i wanted to kknow if anyone uses an airbrush and what kinda paint is the best and what thinner to paint ratio i should use thanks.
