Anyone Remember this Fast Food Toy Line?

Postby Purity » Sat Sep 15, 2012 4:34 pm

I can't rememeber what series it was but they were some type of figurine that came in a colored plastic(as in plastic used for packaging for a figure) book. I can't remember what the series was or what REsturaunt sold them, but the thought popped in my head and now I can't stop wondering about it. I think it was McDonald's but I'm not sure.

Any more details like what was in the book or what the book looked like would be helpful.

Good point. Well it was a plastic book. Made of super cheap plastic(as in the kind of plastic used on blister packaging. You could cut it with scissors). And each book was a different, very colorful book. And then whatever franchise was being promoted was on the cover. And you'd open it up and a little I think 3" figure would be inside the book-packaging. It was fitted in there just as a packaged figure(ML, DCU, Halo, etc) would be. Any ideas at all? I don't blame anyone if they don't know, As I'm having so much trouble remembering, but it's buggin the crap out of me.

the only thing I can remember like this is when Mcdonalds did the Disney trains. They came is small book like packages that kind of looked like a disney vhs box and inside was the little train type toy that attached together to make a long train.

Oh really? Cool. At the moment I don't plan on buying them, but in the future I definitely will. There are just too many Other figures I'd like to buy now.

Thought this was going to be a post about Food Fighters. Got me all nostalgic

I've seen those Disney toys at Goodwill and flea markets from time to time. A cousin of mine had some of them when we were younger too.
